Or it could even mean ‘lots of love’
I have lots of love
Dripping
From every pore, from each fingertip
From every eyelash
That hides a tear
I have lots of love

Seem blind, deaf, dumb
To every tear
That my eyelids hide
To every flower
That blooms in my heart
Sometimes I think
What’s the point anyway
Of all this lots of love
That I want to drip, drip, drip
From every pore, every fingertip, and eyelash
Since you’re so blind, deaf, dumb
And unending days turn into unending nights
And the skies drip, drip, drip, washing
Away the tears hidden in my eyelids
And my heart becomes a faded flower
It’s much better
To just laugh out loud

this was written a year back - i often feel surprised at all the turmoil my words seem to exude, when i visit them after a while. the passion, the feeling have passed, died. but i'll keep it here anyway.
ReplyDeleteit's always that way when you come back to old work. "emotions recollected in tranquility" and all that. it's a bit like time travel, isn't it? you can almost feel what you felt then, recapture what was going on. ALMOST.
